Every Friday morning, local makers fill the Burgage Hall with cakes still warm from home ovens, flowers cut at dawn, and crafts made by hand — sold by the people who made them.

Three tables, one hall

There are no stalls and nobody shouting their wares. Everything is laid out together, like with like — you shop the tables, and the co-operative takes care of the rest.

Sweet and savoury baking from home kitchens — cakes, biscuits, bread, pies, pasties and flans — alongside charcuterie, ready meals, chutneys, jams, marmalades, honey and free-range eggs.

The hall opens at 8.45am sharp, and the freshest produce goes first. Come early, stay for a coffee and a biscuit, and meet the people who made your breakfast.
