Every Friday morning, local makers fill the Burgage Hall with cakes still warm from home ovens, flowers cut at dawn, and crafts made by hand — sold by the people who made them.

There are no stalls and nobody shouting their wares. Everything is laid out together, like with like — you shop the tables, and the co-operative takes care of the rest.

Cards, decorative pieces and practical everyday items, all produced by hand with loving care — with guest producers bringing home-thrown pottery, beeswax candles and sheep’s wool products.
Home-grown fruit and vegetables, herbs and cut flowers — plus top-quality herbaceous perennials, annuals and shrubs, of the usual and more unusual kinds.
